Regino Boti, MA, MBA

Regino has almost 20 years of experience in finance and investment banking He started his career doing financial analysis of biotech and pharmaceutical companies at F&C Investments in London (part of Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust, which had funds under management of over 4,2 billion USD). As part of his work he developed a valuation model underpinned by a modified Monte Carlo simulation which became the reference for the analysis of such companies at F&C Investments

Regino subsequently held senior positions in corporate finance and structured and leveraged finance at several banking institutions (e.g., Credit Suisse, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein). During that period he built several models for assessing the viability of financing transactions and the financial position of borrowers in the public and private markets and designed and developed a unique and proprietary analytical tool to model the cashflow profile of construction loan portfolios for risk management and securitization

Throughout his investment banking career he was directly involved or led the arrangement of transactions with a notional value of more than 10 billion USD for corporates and financial institutions (banks) Regino holds a degree in Economics from Havana University, an MA in Economics from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) and an MBA (Finance) from Cass Business School, City University (London, UK). He is also a Chevening Scholar from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (UK State Department) and the British Council
