Ruben Estrada is a highly seasoned and recognized Community and Government Relations leader with a combined 30-year career in Community and Government Relations, Public Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Advertising, and Hispanic Marketing, Media, and Broadcasting. Mr. Estrada has been recognized by the New York State Assembly and Senate by a legislative resolution for his contributions to the advancement of minority communities, including special initiatives focused on the Hispanic/Latino community. Acknowledged for being in the forefront of developing legislative approaches to combat the social and economic ills which have created barriers for Hispanics and other minorities in New York State, Mr. Estrada’s endeavors have led to the creation of the New York State Office of Minority Health and the Puerto Rican Hispanic Business Development Center within the NYS Urban Development Corporation.
Mr. Estrada is highly sought after for his expertise in building minority marketplace awareness, development, and advancement as well as for his knowledge in implementing effective public affairs strategies and campaigns which have resulted in annual sales and national revenue increases in the millions of dollars. Highly adept at building broadly diverse coalitions across media, broadcasting, and advertising groups, Mr. Estrada has successfully influenced strategic transformational outcomes in diverse markets and communities across the country.
Mr. Estrada is the creator, developer, and host of “Linea Informativa”, a weekly bi-lingual local radio program serving the Hudson Valley, NY area. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina, an annual event held to celebrate Hispanic/Latino culture, drawing hundreds of attendees annually from throughout the Tri state area and beyond. Mr. Estrada serves as the Chairman of Helping Hands for Puerto Rico, a non-partisan 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which supports the development of the arts, entrepreneurship, and education in low income Puerto Rican communities.
